First Day of School

Wednesday, August 12 was the first day of school for the 2009-2010 year. Lauren, Megan, and Madison had many firsts that day! It was their first time wearing non-uniform clothes to school, their first time taking a school bus, and their first time going to their new school, Lake Hills Elementary. They each felt excited yet a little nervous going to a new place. Vince and I waited with them at the bus stop near our house and then we drove to the school so we could meet the bus and walk them to their lines.

Lake Hills is beautiful campus! We met Mrs. Pence, Madison's teacher and Mrs. Carrillo, Megan's teacher. Lauren's teacher, Mrs. Garnica, wasn't available, but we look forward to seeing her soon! I know the girls will have a great year at Lake Hills.
